The two churches of St Michael's and St John the Baptist in the Wilderness work together as the Erringden Benefice, part of the Diocese of Leeds within the Church of England in the worldwide family of Anglican churches.

We warmly welcome those who live and work in this area or those who are visiting. We are a community made up of all sorts of people - different ages and backgrounds, who together are learning more about God, and want to share the good news they have discovered.
