Blisland: St Protus & St Hyacinth

Welcome to the home page of our church in Blisland.  You can find out more about the history of the church on the following pages. We think the church is special for a number of reasons; one being that it has been updated in Victorian times in great taste, another being that Sir John Betjeman first came to the church as a young boy and perhaps his love of church architecture was formulated by his visit.

The parish of Blisland is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishop's guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Truro’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."

The church is open from 10 to 4 daily except on Christmas Day when it closes after the morning service.

We need to raise £18,000
