Our News and Notices section includes a weekly written Act of Worship and sermon so that you are able to worship alongside us, whoever and wherever you are. We prepare a weekly newsletter which is available by email. If you would like to be included on the distribution list do send us a message. A hard copy of the newsletter may be collected from our church gate.

Today’s Gospel reading from Mark introduces us to a very important but also very humble man: John the Baptist.

Lord, direct our thoughts, and teach us to pray. Lift up our hearts to worship you in spirit and in truth, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Our church services of Holy Communion in one kind only will resume on 6th December at 10:30am. Numbers are limited due to social distancing. There will be no singing. Please contact us if you would like to come to one of our services.

Dietrich Bonhoeffer wrote ‘Life in a prison cell reminds me of Advent – one waits and hopes, potters about, but in the end what we do is of little consequence, for the door is shut and bolted, it can only be opened from the outside.’
