Venue
Swafield: St Nicholas
Address
Trunch Road Swafield North Walsham, NR28 0PE, United Kingdom

On Nov 7th we're honoured to be hosting an evening of interest to our eight congregations (in St Nicholas). Kit Martin CBE will discuss "The importance of the wonderful built heritage at the heart of our communities" and our architect Iain Walker will discuss the imminent re-ordering of St Nicholas, Swafield to incorporate a community arts centre.

If you’re interested in the renovation of historic properties like Gunton Park or the imminent launch of the St Nicks Community Art Centre, then you don’t want to miss this!

The event will be hosted by Rev Dr Sally Myers and there will be a Q&A panel. By the time of this meeting our new temporary toilet & heating will be in place! Hurrah!

The talks will be preceded by an optional fish & chip supper. The food will be delivered at 7pm and the talks will start around 7:30pm. Our licensed bar will be open.

Entrance is free but tickets are limited and need to be booked. Fish & chips are chargeable & must be booked in advance.

Trunch: St Botolph

St. Botolph's, Trunch is located in the centre of the village. This grade 1 church has been at the heart of the community since medieval times and boasts a number of interesting and important features. The font canopy is only one of 4 in the country and the rood screen still shows the Apostles in much detail, despite having their faces defaced in the Reformation. We currently have two services per month, a Holy Communion on the 2nd Sunday of the month and Morning Worship on 4th Sunday of the month both at 10am. In addition, there are regular events held throughout the year, Cinema and live concerts, flower festivals, exhibitions, and an annual Crib Service on Christmas Eve at 4.30pm.  All are welcome to our events and services.
