St Mary's, Rushall

We strive to be “The heartbeat of our community”

Rushall's peaceful, small church is open for visitors 24/7, for private prayer, quiet contemplation or for just a quiet walk around an historic Medieval building and churchyard.

Do join us at our Holy Communion services which are generally on the 2nd Sunday of the month at 11am, you will receive a warm welcome. We also hold occasional festival services at Christmas, Easter, Harvest, All Souls and Remembrance.

Our services can be subject to change occasionally so please ensure you check out Rushall's Calendar of Services and Events page on the left hand side of the main page on this website for updates or the posters up on the church's noticeboards.

Our Benefice

Safeguarding

At St Mary's in our Parish of Rushall, we are committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Norwich’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact our PSO Safeguarding Officer, The Reverend Norman Steer, on 01379 854245. If he is not available then please contact:

Sue Brice, Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser
07958 377079 or [email protected]
Bishop’s House, Norwich, NR3 1SB

Peter Sayer, Diocesan Assistant Safeguarding Adviser
07342 999386 or [email protected]

If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
