Eucharist / Communion - Prayer Book (traditional)

Sunday 27 September 2020 Sunday at 10:30 a.m. for 1hr

Church Street

Covid update: Eucharist / Communion will resume in August (offering bread / wafer only). The inclusion of hymn singing will follow at a later date.
Book of Common Prayer / Prayer Book = traditional style liturgy. This form of Eucharist / Communion usually occurs on the fourth Sunday each month; see 'Calendar' tab.
'Eucharist' means thanksgiving; 'Communion' means shared fellowship in God's presence. Both relate to the commemoration of the Last Supper with token bread and wine, when Jesus said, 'Do this in remembrance of me'. (Luke 22:19. 1 Corinthians 11:23-26.)
