Accessibility

It is possible to drive to the porch entrance if using a wheelchair - to avoid the long gravelled path. An attendant at a service can advise on the day.

Parking on the grassed area between churchyard and street. Sometimes in the winter out of use due to muddy conditions.

At the village hall, 2 minutes walk from church.


Our Building

Grade 2* medieval, including Saxon cross fixture.

Appears in the village hall, London Street, Tuesday mornings and most Thursday mornings, approx. 9.30 - 11.45 am.

Toilets

Music and Worship

A tower with six bells, the last three of which installed in recent decades. Ringing most Sundays before the service, with both village ringers and visiting ringers. A monthly practice night Monday with a regular visiting band from nearby.

Hymns at services are either led from the organ, or recorded backing tracks.

Prayer Communion elsewhere in our Benefice.


Groups, Courses and Activities

An annual Lent Course at the Benefice Rectory (Colkirk) references Biblical and other texts.

In the village hall on London Street first and third Tuesdays of the month, approx. 10 am - 11 am.

Messy Church ran from 2010 - 2016 in the village hall.


Help for Visitors

Daily at least 10 am - 4 pm.
