Christ Church is situated in a working, rural and agricultural setting five miles east of Fakenham, south of the A148. Since recent extensive renovation of the church building, the congregation seeks to serve the local community in as many ways as possible. All are invited to attend not only the regular services but also the extensive range of concerts and other cultural activities which are mounted throughout the year. We welcome the chance to work with our colleagues at Fakenham and strengthening our ties in furthering the work of God’s church in North Norfolk.
Rural communities rely on ever diminishing facilities. So often the shop, the pub and the post office have closed. This is the case in Fulmodeston. Some residents do not drive and the bus routes are not plentiful. In this environment a church and its worshippers can provide a village with a great deal that money cannot buy. At the heart of Fulmodeston is the church, literally at the crossroads. The church porch is a collecting point for the Mid Norfolk Food Bank.
The current Parochial Church Council is committed to putting the church at the centre of the Parish, not only in our worship but by reaching out to the community in as many thoughtful, enterprising and collaborative ways as possible. We welcome your views on how we can further serve the community. Please join us!
