Meditation has become a regular and enriching part of our community life. Each first and third Wednesday at 6pm, we gather to quieten our minds and create space for God to work within us. Whether you are an experienced meditator or simply curious, we warmly welcome you to join us on this journey.

We believe that meditation is a skill that can be developed over time, much like prayer. It’s an opportunity to intentionally step away from the noise of daily life and enter a state of peaceful awareness. In this silence, we can listen for God’s guidance and deepen our spiritual connection. It is a time to simply "be" with God, without the need for words or specific requests.

Our sessions are usually around 30 minutes and to help you feel more comfortable during the session, we suggest bringing a cushion for the pews.

We look forward to seeing you there.

At this months Family Church, we’re exploring The Bread of Life — discovering how Jesus meets our deepest needs and invites us into a closer relationship with Him. Using a simple wafer as part of our worship, and reflecting on the story of the road to Emmaus, we’ll see how Jesus was recognised in the breaking of bread. When Jesus says, “I am the bread of life,” we’ll discover what that really means — that in Him, we find all we need. Come along as a family and uncover the joy of knowing Jesus more.

Families are very welcome to come and share some craft or activities followed by a song, a prayer and tea together.

You are warmly invited to our Sunday morning service — a time of song, prayer, reflection, and shared worship. This is a Eucharist (or Holy Communion) service, where we remember and give thanks for the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.

Whether you’ve been to church many times before or this is your very first visit, you’ll be made to feel welcome. There’s no dress code and no expectations — just come as you are.

The service includes hymns (songs), readings from the Bible, a short talk, and the sharing of bread and wine (or a blessing if you prefer not to receive communion). Children are very welcome — we’re used to a bit of noise and movement, and there’s space for them to feel comfortable.

After the service, we’d love you to stay for a cup of tea or coffee, a biscuit, and a chat. It’s a great way to meet others and find out more if you’re curious.

Edgefield Church is a place for everyone — wherever you are on your journey of faith (or even if you’re just wondering what it’s all about), you are welcome here.

At this months Family Church, we’re exploring The Fruit of the Spirit — discovering how God helps us grow on the inside so it shows on the outside. Through fun activities, stories, and plenty of visual ways to learn, we’ll look at the wonderful “fruit” God grows in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Come along as a family and find out how staying close to God helps us grow into the people He made us to be.

Families are very welcome to come and share some craft or activities followed by a song, a prayer and tea together.
