Meditation has become a regular and enriching part of our community life. Each first and third Wednesday at 6pm, we gather to quieten our minds and create space for God to work within us. Whether you are an experienced meditator or simply curious, we warmly welcome you to join us on this journey.

We believe that meditation is a skill that can be developed over time, much like prayer. It’s an opportunity to intentionally step away from the noise of daily life and enter a state of peaceful awareness. In this silence, we can listen for God’s guidance and deepen our spiritual connection. It is a time to simply "be" with God, without the need for words or specific requests.

Our sessions are usually around 30 minutes and to help you feel more comfortable during the session, we suggest bringing a cushion for the pews.

We look forward to seeing you there.

For the cold month of January we shall meet in Edgefield Village Hall where our Family Church will look at the Transforming power of Jesus - in a very explosive way!

This month, we’re diving into Mission, Coke and Mentos — a fun, hands-on way to explore how meeting God can spark an explosion of joy. Through Bible stories, everyday experiences, and a memorable (and slightly messy!) illustration, we’ll discover how God’s love moves us from watching to responding. Come along, bring the family, and see how following Jesus can change everything — sometimes instantly.

All are welcome and especially families to come and share some craft or activities followed by a song, a prayer and food together.

You are warmly invited to our Sunday morning service — a time of song, prayer, reflection, and shared worship. This is a Eucharist (or Holy Communion) service, where we remember and give thanks for the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.

Whether you’ve been to church many times before or this is your very first visit, you’ll be made to feel welcome. There’s no dress code and no expectations — just come as you are.

The service includes hymns (songs), readings from the Bible, a short talk, and the sharing of bread and wine (or a blessing if you prefer not to receive communion). Children are very welcome — we’re used to a bit of noise and movement, and there’s space for them to feel comfortable.

After the service, we’d love you to stay for light refreshments, a biscuit, and a chat. It’s a great way to meet others and find out more if you’re curious.

Edgefield Church is a place for everyone — wherever you are on your journey of faith (or even if you’re just wondering what it’s all about), you are welcome here.

At this months Family Church, we’re exploring God-Given Potential — discovering how Jesus invites ordinary people to live extraordinary, purposeful lives. Using a simple (and very relatable!) teapot illustration, we’ll explore what it means to be with Jesus, become like Jesus, and do what Jesus did. Together we’ll look at how God hasn’t designed us to sit on the shelf, but to be filled, poured out, and used — at home, in church, and in our everyday lives. Come along and discover the potential God has placed in you and your family.

Families are very welcome to come and share some craft or activities followed by a song, a prayer and tea together.
