Church of England Diocese of Norwich Saxthorpe with Corpusty

About Us

The villages of Saxthorpe and Corpusty lie in a shallow but sheltered valley on the road from Norwich to Holt. The straightness of the road south to Norwich suggests a Roman origin. For much of their long history the parishes had a separate existence. Corpusty Parish Church stands sentinel to the south. It is now in the care of The Norfolk Churches Trust, who have raised considerable funds to maintain the essential fabric. A service is held there once a year in July to keep alive the sense of it being a holy place.

Today, St. Andrew's Church, Saxthorpe is part of the Seven Churches Benefice, serving the settlement of Saxthorpe with Corpusty.

We have a range of services and activities and would love for you to join us.  If you don’t see a service at Saxthorpe, please look at service times for our other churches across the Benefice by selecting More Information section on the left.

If anyone would like information about the Matlaske Benefice please contact Revd David Longe on 01263 577 252 or [email protected]
