Come and join the bell ringers at Saxthorpe Church for a practice evening. Whether you’re curious to find out how it works or already have some experience, you’re welcome to come along and give it a try. No previous experience is needed, and you don’t have to be a churchgoer to join in!We practise on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month, from 7:30pm to 9:00pm.We ring our six bells using a variety of methods, including rounds, call changes and Grandsire. It’s a great way to learn a new skill, meet people and be part of a long-standing village tradition.Interested? Our normal Wednesday Coffee, Cake and Chat was dedicated to Barks & Bakes for Macmillan Cancer Support on 21st August. We welcomed 52 adults, 12 children and 14 dogs. Doggy treats for our canine friends, tombola, glass art, a host of activities for the children, and much more on offer.We are excited to be sending £219 to 'We are Macmillan caner support'
