Come and enjoy a traditional community event with a Christmassy feel, raising funds for the village church! Cake, Raffle, books and bric-a-brac to look through and buy, cheerful company, etc - did we mention Coffee and CAKE!! The usual monster Christmas tree will hopefully have made an earlier-than-usual appearance.

On the first Sunday of the month, a Communion service from either BCP (traditional language) or Common Worship (modern), with hymns, readings and prayers. Sometimes replaced by Morning Prayer (BCP or CW).
Refreshments served afterwards, in church or outside.

A traditional village Christmas service, with carols, readings and prayers in the beautifully- decorated church, with candles, crib, and a splendid Christmas tree. Usually there's a chance for the children present to get involved in the action!

Lingen's usual Christmas Eve not-quite-midnight Communion service takes a break in 2023 - many of those who assist with the service are away with their grandchildren (or without their grandchildren). The mince pies and mulled wine will return for 2024, d.v.
