Ludford: St Giles
Nestling on the edge of the Shropshire market town of Ludlow, and overlooking the picturesque River Teme, we are a small church with a big heart - welcoming, busy, comfortable and warm! With our five sister churches in the Ashfords Benefice we offer a range of styles of worship, often followed by social time and seasonal refreshments. Recent special services have included Celtic and Lutheran liturgy, Candlemas, and the agricultural year celebrations of Plough Sunday, Rogation and Lammas.
St. Giles' is fully accessible for those with restricted mobility, and caters for a range of physical and intellectual disabilities.
For details of forthcoming services and events in our Parish, see the One-off Events section in the Services & Events page.

St John's Church, Ludlow
Welcome to St John's Church. We are the parish church for the eastern half of Ludlow. We hold services every Sunday, normally at 10 am and also midweek on a Wednesday at 11.30 am. During special times of year such as Christmas we hold additional services as well. Our programme is displayed on the notice board on the gate into the church yard.
Everyone is welcome at our services, whether you are a member of the Church of England or not. Children are welcome to all our services. We are always available for weddings and funerals, and we love holding baptisms or christenings as well.
We normally meet after each service for a get-together with tea, coffee and biscuits and we also hold an informal tea and toast session on Wednesday mornings from 9.30 am.
If you have any prayer requests please either email us or write the request on a piece of paper and post it in the letter box inside the church yard gate.
