Church of England Diocese of Hereford Marden with Amberley and Wisteston

Marden: St Mary the Virgin

A centre of pilgrimage and healing since the 8th Century associated with St Ethelbert the King.  A warm welcome awaits you at St Mary's, on the banks of the River Lugg.

In light of the Government guidance around non-essential contact, we have suspended public worship until further notice. Sunday worship is published around 10.30am each Sunday on our Youtube channel; prayer and other video reflections are also published here. Please keep an eye on this site and our Facebook Page.  Our church is now closed for private prayer.

The parish of Marden is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Hereford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
