St Matthew's

Welcome to St. Matthew's, a church in the heart of the Herefordshire countryside, where everyone is welcome.

We are a very friendly church and we invite you to join us for our two regular services a month, on the 2nd and 4th Sundays at 10am.  Services are always followed by refreshments.

Our beautiful, rural, church is open to visitors every day from 9.30am to 4.30pm.   Whether you are interested in the history of the church, its magnificent carved alabaster reredos of the Last Supper, or simply a space to sit in peace, you are welcome.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Marstow is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer. The Diocese of Hereford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the Parish Safeguarding Officer (Wendy Price 07596 897 962) or the Diocese Safeguarding Advisor (Lisa Anderson 07999 028076). If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children(01432 260800) or Adults Services (01432 260715).
