Welcome to St James, Milton Clevedon, the church on the farm. We are delighted that you want to find out more about this unique, small country church where you can enjoy a quiet, restful time in the beautiful countryside in one of God’s special places.
We have Worship for Everyone on the second Sunday (lasts about 40 minutes) and Communion service on the fourth Sunday (lasting about an hour) of every month. Any changes to these services will be on the notice board outside the church or here.
Everyone is so welcome to come and join our congregation - we are a very relaxed, friendly bunch - or to visit this special place. The church is open during daylight hours.
Our parish of Milton Clevedon is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Bath & Wells’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact our PSO, Liz Henderson, email: [email protected] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor https://www.bathandwells.org.uk/safeguarding. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
