This is an intimate service where we remember how Jesus washed the feet of his friends. Foot washing is part of the evening's liturgy but is entirely optional. We also share Communion together and leave the service in silence as we remember the first disciples going with Jesus to the garden of Gethsemane. Weather permitting, there is an opportunity to follow Christ out into the garden and gather around the prayer shed for a short liturgy. You may like to bring a torch.. there is a path and space to sit - chairs provided.

St Mary's, Frome

Welcome to St Mary's Frome.

We are a friendly, faithful and inclusive congregation gathering in the Welshmill area of Frome. We are on the edge of the Packsaddle Estate and our church is set in beautiful grounds which make it feel quite rural.

Our style of worship is Anglican. Our distant roots are in the more Catholic tradition and the  sacraments are important to us.

We have a 24/7 Prayer shed that is available to book for private prayers, we have an emerging community for the spiritually curious called Mary's House Community and a community growing space.

There is lots to get involved with and we would love it if you joined us.
