Welcome to St Mary's Frome.
We are a friendly, faithful and inclusive congregation gathering in the Welshmill area of Frome. We are on the edge of the Packsaddle Estate and our church is set in beautiful grounds which make it feel quite rural.
Our style of worship is Anglican. Our distant roots are in the more Catholic tradition and the sacraments are important to us.
We have a 24/7 Prayer shed that is available to book for private prayers, we have an emerging community for the spiritually curious called Mary's House Community and a community growing space.
There is lots to get involved with and we would love it if you joined us.
"Our parish of Frome: St Mary is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Bath & Wells’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO Dr. Sarah Eyles safeguarding2christchurch-stmarys-frome.co.uk) or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (bathwells.anglican.org/safeguarding) If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
