Lasting about half an hour, the gathering begins and ends with music, and includes a short Bible reading, and about 20 minutes of quiet. It is a time for peaceful contemplation, focusing on God who is within each of us. It is not always easy to still the mind, but being together is helpful and supportive.
Anyone is very welcome to share this time of calm with us, and find the refreshment it brings.

Christmas is coming, and the The Friends of St Peter's Church, together with the Catcott Village Association, are again supporting the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal. We know and appreciate how wonderfully generous the people of Catcott are, as was shown with the Bridgwater Harvest Food Bank collection. Thank you.
The Salvation Army collection is for new, unwrapped toys and gifts for children who might not otherwise receive a Christmas present. They work with local schools, health visitors and social services to provide a hamper of food and new toys for families in the area.
Please bring donations to St Peter's Church from 10am to 1pm on Saturday 6th December
and stay for a mince pie and tea or coffee.

This year we won't be distributing plastic bags, and collecting from homes. Should you be unable to bring the donations to the church please contact a Church Warden or phone 01278 722542 (Jackie and Dave).
