Lasting about half an hour, the gathering begins and ends with music, and includes a short Bible reading, and about 20 minutes of quiet. It is a time for peaceful contemplation, focusing on God who is within each of us. It is not always easy to still the mind, but being together is helpful and supportive.
Anyone is very welcome to share this time of calm with us, and find the refreshment it brings.

One of the many nice things about Catcott coffee mornings is that they are held in the homes of generous folk, happy to be invaded for an hour or so. They are relaxed and welcoming gatherings where you can meet up with old friends, and make new ones. Just drop in, or stay for the whole time. There will be a raffle.
You can also pick up your tickets for Soup and a Pud!
Suggested donation £2.50 for tea/coffee and cake. All proceeds to St Peter’s Church. All welcome.

A light Harvest lunch with a choice of soups and puds, to suit all tastes and dietary requirements, at the village hall, Edington. 12 till 2pm with food served at 12.30pm. Tickets £7.50.

Please stay after the service for coffee/tea, biscuits and a friendly chat.

We have some very regular donors who generously leave items at the Church for the Bridgwater Foodbank throughout the year, but at this Harvest time we make a particular appeal for people to remember others who are finding things a struggle.
Please bring items to St. Peter's Church after the Harvest Service - between 11am and 4pm where there will be someone to receive them with a welcoming smile (and a cup of refreshment too!).

The Foodbank is in urgent need of food donations, particularly: 1.Tinned meat, 2.Tinned vegetables, 3.Long-life milk, 4.Cereals, 5.Toilet rolls, 6.Washing-up liquid.
