About Grace Church, Bath

The best way to find out about us is to speak to us, either by coming to visit on a Sunday afternoon, or dropping us a contact so that we can make a connection with you.

But here’s a bit of a flavour of what we’re about…

The Bible is what guides and shapes the kind of church that we are, and what we do. God tells us that the most important thing for people to do with their lives is to listen to what He has said, and then trust Him enough to do it! So, at GCB, we try to do exactly that.

God has spoken to the world in loads of ways, but primarily through His Son, Jesus. And Jesus’ voice is heard in the Bible, so we make sure that the Bible is central to everything that we do.

And that’s a good thing, because it means you can be sure that you aren’t being asked to follow someone else’s bright ideas (which may not be that bright), or someone else’s wisdom (which may not be very wise); you are being invited to listen to God’s Word to you. And you can check that, by seeing if what we say and do at GCB is what the Bible teaches.

We are a welcoming church, a group of people working hard to connect with people across Bath and beyond by teaching, encouraging, and inviting everyone to listen to Jesus, to introduce Him to people who don’t yet know Him, and make better disciples of those who do.

Hello and welcome to Grace Church Bath.

After our summer sojorn at Emmanuel, Apsley Road we are back at St. John's for our 4pm service from Sunday 5th September. We will be following Covid guidelines as necessary and we are happy to now be able once again to provide a meal for our younger members and a cuppa for the adults after the service.
We would love to see you!
