Sunday 26th July is the Eighth Sunday after Trinity, and Christ Church welcomes you to a service of Morning Worship to celebrate Sea Sunday at 10.30 am. The gospel reading tells three parables about the Kingdom of Heaven

Our service will be followed by light refreshments in the Church Room, as we exchange news and share our experiences, so do come and join us

Our Readings are:

Romans chapter 8 verses 26-end and Kings Chapter 3 verses 5-12

and

Matthew Chapter 13 verses/31-33 and 44-52.

“Lord Jesus, you taught us that when we welcome the stranger, feed the hungry, and visit the lonely, we are serving you. Open our eyes today to see seafarers – and all who are overlooked – as you see them. Make us Harbours of Hope: places of safety, welcome, provision, community, and peace. We pray in your precious name.
