Our Benefice comes together to remember Jesus meeting in the upper room with his disciples to celebrate passover. We meet at 6.00pm to share a simple Agape meal with pitta bread, and lamb. This will be followed at 7.00 pm by a special service of Holy Communion terminating in the stripping of the altar, and we leave in silence as we remember the betrayal of Jesus.

Christ Church

Sunday 14th September is the 13th Sunday after Trinity, and Chrisat Church have a service of Morning Worship at 10.30 am where   Steve Bloggs will be providing live music. The service will be followed by light refreshments in the Church Room, as we meet to catch up on local news.

Our readings this Sunday are:

 Numbers chapter 21 : Verses 4=9  The Bronze Snake

John chapter 3 verses 13- 17  For God so loved the world.

´Dear God, we are surrounded by snakes in our lives, the snakes of anger, the snakes of selfishness, the snakes of bitterness and perceived injustice, the snakes of indifference to the suffering of others, the snakes of addiction. Help us to confront all our snakes; to put them up on poles so we can recognise and conquer them with your help, Lord. ´We ask this in Jesus name.´Amen
