Our Benefice comes together to remember Jesus meeting in the upper room with his disciples to celebrate passover. We meet at 6.00pm to share a simple Agape meal with pitta bread, and lamb. This will be followed at 7.00 pm by a special service of Holy Communion terminating in the stripping of the altar, and we leave in silence as we remember the betrayal of Jesus.

Christ Church

Sunday 31st May is Trinity Sunday, and Christ Church celebrates the triune majesty of God  with a Benefice service of Holy Communion at 10.30am. Our service will be followed by light refreshments in the Church Room, as we exchange news and share our experiences between the churches. Do come and join us 

Our Readings are:

Isaiah  Chapter 40 Verses 12-17 and   27-31 THe Lord is the edverl;asting God, and those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles,

and 

Matthew  Chapter 28, verses  16-20  The Commissioning of the Disciples

Almighty and eternal God, we praise and adore you—Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer. Three Persons in one perfect bond of love, you have revealed yourself as a mystery beyond our understanding, yet a presence that dwells intimately within us. [1, 2]God the Father, our Creator, we thank you for adopting us as your children and sustaining all of life.
God the Son, our Redeemer, we praise you for your sacrifice, which washes away our sins and offers us eternal grace.
God the Holy Spirit, our Comforter and Guide, we invite you to blow through our lives, knit us together in unity, and fill us with faith. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]Triune God, we pray for your Church and for the world. May we reflect the diversity and perfect harmony of your nature, living in peace and serving those in need. In all that we do, may our lives bring glory to your Holy Name. [1]Amen.
