Services are held in the main church during warm weather, and in the church room during winter months, when heating the main building is difficult and costly. Christ Church

Sunday 12th October  is the17th Sunday after Trinity, and the theme of this Sunday's worship is faith and thankfulness.   At Christ Church we will have a service of Morning Worship at 10.30 am with live music by Steve Bloggs followed by light refreshments in the Church Room, when we share our joys and sorrows from the past week, catch up on news and put the world to rights!

Our readings this Sunday are:

2 Kings  Chapter 5 verses 1-3 and 7-15c  Naaman is healed of leprosy

Luke chapter 17 verses 13-19  Jesus heals ten men with leprosy

Almighty and most merciful God, we remember before you all poor and neglected persons whom it would be easy for us to forget: the homeless and the destitute, the old and the sick, and all who have none to care for them. Help us to heal those who are broken in body or spirit, and to turn their sorrow into joy. Grant this, Father, for the love of your Son, who for our sake became poor, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen.
