This year, the congregations of Chedzoy and Westonzoyland are joining together for a special celebration of Pentecost Sunday at WESTONZOYLAND. Assistant Bishop of Bath & Wells, The Rt Revd Nigel Stock will lead the worship, which will also be a Confirmation Service. Please note there will not be a service in Chedzoy this Sunday. Anyone who requires a lift from Chedzoy should get in touch here, or through the usual church contacts. Refreshments after the service.

Under the Church Representation Rules PCCs must hold an Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM). At the APCM the annual report and financial statements for the previous year are presented and officers are appointed for the current year. You are invited to come, receive the report, and hear how Chedzoy PCC has been working in the past year. Your support is very welcome.

St. Mary's Chedzoy is taking part in Love Your Burial Ground Week, a national campaign promoted by the conservation charity, Caring for God's Acre - see www.caringforgodsacre.org.uk. If you can spare an hour or two your help will be most welcome. The plan is to tackle some light weeding and edging of the flower beds and borders, planting out for summer, reclaim the path widths, collect dead wood, cut back brambles and reduce the compost heap, etc. Many hands make light work and please bring your own garden tools and gloves. When there is a fifth Sunday in a month, the congregations of Chedzoy and Westonzoyland combine for a joint service. Sunday, 30th June, is a fifth Sunday. Our friends from our sister church will be joining us for a united benefice service at CHEDZOY starting at 10.30am.

Save The Date! Following the success of the first Benefice Fete last year, it's Chedzoy's turn to host the Event which will take place, courtesy of the Village Hall's management committee, in the Village Hall and Hall Field. Plans for entertainment and refreshments are being made, so check back for updates nearer the time!
