A weekly evening meditation, of which the first Wednesday of the month is a slightly longer session, often including outside speakers or visits.

Join with others for 30 minutes of prayer at the start of the day. Encounter God through his word, praying for ourselves, the world and the church. We use a combination of Common Worship and introduce other prayer resources to lead us in this time together.
An unforgettable night of musical performances at The Minster. We are delighted to welcome Cowbridge Male Voice Choir, in concert with Somer Singers, for this special evening in aid of St Mary's, The Minster, Ilminster.

Book of Common Prayer
An exciting time of worship for everyone, which spans the generations and traditions, followed by refreshments where hearts connect and faith flourishes. First Sunday of each month at 10.30am.
Our main 10.30am service, followed by refreshments in The Minster Rooms.
The fifth Sunday is a Benefice Service, held at the Minster, unless otherwise stated.
You are warmly invited to a 30-minute service of quiet reflection in the style of the Taizé tradition. This time of prayer includes simple meditative chants/songs, a short Bible reading and a period of silence and personal prayer. All are welcome to come and rest in the stillness, drawing close to God through simplicity, prayer and peace.
Come together and celebrate through song as we mark the closure of Herne View's Infant School site and journey through nearly 150 years of education in Silver Street. We will sing the town's best loved primary school assembly songs and hymns, voted on by you and introduced by special guests.

Whilst tickets are free, we would welcome donations on the day, payable by cash or card, which will be split between the Herne View PTA and The Minster, to provide ongoing support and resources for the young people of the town.

The Revd Graham Stephenson will lead his fourth annual study course, completing a look at the major parts of the New Testament. This year's course will be on The Forgotten and Hidden Books of Early Christianity. Come and discover why we have 27 books in the New Testament, and only four gospels, when we now know, because of recent archaeological discoveries, of at least five times that number, (including whole or part books of more than forty gospels). Read some of this forgotten and hidden material for yourself, and consider whether or not limiting the New Testament has been good or bad for the church?
