The parish Church of All Saints in Bank Square has a tower from the 13th century, which was extensively restored between 1853 and 1855 when the rest of church was rebuilt by Edward Ashworth. It has been designated as Grade II Listed Building
It has been remodelled to make the church more accessible for community use. An additional area for staged performances has been added together with a disabled access pathway and vehicular access when required.
Our Mission is to be at the Heart of the Community of Dulverton. As well as regular services, we host a number of events throughout the year. Service times are:
8.00 am Holy Communion
9.30 am Parish Communion
6.30 pm Evensong
There is a Sunday School and crèche during Parish Communion
‘Messy Church’ is run once a month on a Saturday afternoon where families are welcome to bring their children for a time of creativity, worship and eating together.
In addition to our Sunday School, the Church also runs a Monday Club at 3.30pm at All Saints School - “Sunday School on Mondays”.
Our commitment to being at the heart of the community extends beyond traditional worship. We own a number of properties which we let at affordable rents for local people. We also host a cost-effective printing service for the community and local businesses called Printing at the Vicarage run by Claire Savill
We also publish the Brushford & Dulverton Parish Magazine each month with news and pictures of local events and activities. It is a useful source of advertising for local trades and services.
