We were able again this year to hold this service. The weather was superb and many villagers gathered - with their pets - to enjoy sunshine and service.
Remarkably at the start of the service two planes flew overhead creating a perfect vapour trail cross in the sky which lightened our hearts. Music, singing, readings, prayer, a talk and, of course, the blessings - followed by refreshments made this a memorable occasion
