Our annual Autumn Fair was a great success, which exceeded the fundraising
target and fostered community spirit with many new faces attending and our very
supportive congregation. The event's highlight was the special appearance of
'Malcolm the Magician', who put on an entertaining show for the many children
who came. He mesmerised the children with his magic skills as well as balloon
modelling. Twelve independent stall holders selling a wide range of lovely craft
skills were also present, and many people did their early Christmas shopping.
Thank you to everyone who donated raffle prizes, baked or helped on the day.
Overall, the event raised £905 towards church funds. Sue Rackley
