Due to COVID-19, Sunday School and Refreshments have been suspended. Services are currently said and our choir, organist and serving team have been temporarily stood down due to social distancing measures having to be taken. That means *no* singing, processions, music, incense or altar servers. Normal service will resume as soon as this pandemic goes away! Look out for details of a big High Mass when it does to celebrate Easter, the end of COVID and my installation as your new Vicar. There's a lot of partying to catch up on!

Sometimes we just need to say 'sorry'. We cannot assume we are automatically forgiven because that is not the case. We are all sinners, we all need to face our mistakes and bring them to God in penitence and faith that He will forgive us when we ask for His mercy. The priest has been given a share in Christ's authority which He left to His Church to forgive sins in His Name. Hearing the words 'Go in peace. The Lord has put away ALL your sins' can come as a great relief when a burden is too heavy to carry. Confessions are socially distanced and in a private chapel in the church behind closed doors for privacy.
We ARE an Easter people and so every Sunday we celebrate Our Lord's Resurrection making each Sunday 'Easter Day'. As much as we love to celebrate, we also need to remember that on Good Friday at 3pm, Our Lord died on the Cross. Friday devotions help us to pray and to meditate on the cost of our salvation at the hour Our Lord gave up His Spirit.
Incumbent says his Morning Office in church with no public access currently until the COVID situation improves. You can still take part by letting the psalms and the readings wash over you, join in the intercessions and the Lord's prayer and thank God for the gift of a new day!
