We all enjoyed a very hot summer party! We heard the story of Bartimaeus, blind but given sight by Jesus. Bartimaeus didn’t just say thank you , he followed Jesus and this linked into our disciple theme we have been exploring. Old fashioned games were fun, being blind to pin the tail on the donkey, musical chairs and pass the parcel. Lots of bubbles were made and we enjoyed party food. Special thanks to Clare who faithfully attends all our sessions and makes us fantastic food. Next Friday meeting is October 9th but we invite all families to The Refectory on Saturday 12th September 12noon -2pm for more fun and games. Information will follow nearer the time.
It was our final meeting till September – we enjoyed our traditional strawberries, shortcake with clotted cream plus a glass of fizz. Next meeting is Wednesday 2nd September
