This is a special service where the Church Wardens in both of our Parishes will be admitted to their Office. The role of Churchwarden is statutory and voluntary. Each Warden brings the gifts they have to serve in our parish communities, developing their commitment to join in with God’s mission. Please hold them in your prayers at this time.
The challenge was ‘The Colour of God’. We explored the art work of Mark Rothko and created our own interpretations in his abstract minimalist style. Our paintings look simple, but we painted prayerfully and silently, and each colour represented an aspect of God to us. Here are some examples…. Can you spot which is the real Rothko?
