Our car park is tarmaced and entirely level. There is a designated space for blue badge holders.

A defibrilator is located nearby, outside St. Wilfrid's C of E Primary School.

St. Wilfrid's is open daily, during daylight hours.

St. Wilfrid's has been designated a Grade I listed building (1147377) by English Heritage. St Wilfrid's has been designated a Grade I listed building (1147451) by English Heritage. The sundial in the churchyard has it's own Grade II listing (1362274).


Music and Worship

Ribchester Bell Ringers meet to practice once a week, on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm. Bell ringing also takes place before and after the Parish Eucharist on Sunday and occasionally by arrangement for Weddings and Funeral services.

Occasional concerts are held in the church for special events.

Our organ is a two manual instrument, affectionately know as Gladys. She was built in the early 19th Century. Our professional organist is David Scott Thomas.

We are proud to have developed an active group of families who work together to provide Junior Church sessions in the Village Hall, adjacent to St. Wilfrid's church, monthly during the Sunday Eucharist service. All of our Junior Church volunteers have been DBS checked.

Fairtrade items are often sold during teas/coffees in the Village Hall, after Parish Eucharist on Sunday.

There is a Blackburn Foodbank collection basket at the back of the church.
