Passiontide Organ Recital by Tim Eyles, Director of Music at Christ Church.Wednesday 27th March, at 1pm in Christ Church for one hour.Free Entry with retiring collection.Hot drinks and refreshments will be available from 12:30pm.Music of a sombre nature, though not always soft, by composers such as JS Bach (Sei gegrüsset variations), Rheinberger (passacaglia from sonata 8 ), Flor Peeters, Alan Bullard, Healey Willan and William Bolcom.There will also be two preludes by women composers Jeanne Demessieux and Sarah MacDonald.All welcome!
