St Leonards Church Badlesmere sits in the heart of rural and farming Kent and has done in various forms since recordings in the Domesday Book. It has an interesting and unusual interior with high box pews and a double pulpit. The church is used twice monthly for Book of Common Prayer services on the 2nd Sunday of the month at 9.30am and the 4th Sunday of the month at 6.30pm, both of which include Holy Communion. On Christmas Eve it hosts a candlelit carol service which is heartily attended, and other occasional events are offered by our lively yet small congregation. It is linked with St Laurence Church Leaveland, they form one parish, and the two churches are always open, welcoming and well worth visiting!
