Lasting just 30 mins, 'Quiet Time' offers an opportunity to take time out of busy lives to be quiet before God as we listen to music, verses from the Bible, poems or other reflections interspersed with silence. Every week will vary as church members will lead each week in different ways. Be prepared to arrive, and leave, in silence sot that we can make the most of this special time with God and take His quiet time with us as we leave. Quiet Time will run each first Monday of each month thereafter. Newcomers most welcome.

Fareshare aims to reduce food waste by passing on food that is just past it's sell-by date. It is free and safe to eat. Fareshare is available outside St John's Centre every Tuesday and Friday morning between 9am - 11am. Although nothing can be guaranteed there is usually a mix of salad, vegetables, fruit, bread, pastries and cakes.

Care and the love of knitting and crochet have been combined in a prayerful ministry that reaches out to others. Many blessings are worked into every shawl. The knitter or crocheter begins each one with prayers for the recipient and intentions are continued throughout its creation. When completed it is offered a final blessing before being sent on its way.

Shawls are made for many reasons - for those who are housebound, sick, bereaved, undergoing medical procedures or who are distressed in some way. They are also given for occasions of celebration and to mark the beginning of a new stage in a recipient's life.

New knitters and crocheters are very welcome! Refreshments available. If you know someone who would like to receive a prayer shawl or you would like to join our knitters please click on the attachment for more information.

TERM-TIME ONLY
An afterschool social club for children aged 5 - 11! There is a mix of board games, Lego, crafts, treasure hunts, team games, cooking, and more. Cost: £1 per child (includes refreshments).
