Fareshare aims to reduce food waste by passing on food that is just past it's sell-by date. It is free and safe to eat. Fareshare is available outside St John's Centre every Tuesday and Friday morning between 9am - 11am. Although nothing can be guaranteed there is usually a mix of salad, vegetables, fruit, bread, pastries and cakes.

An outdoor activity club for primary-school aged children. (Parents/Carers are required to stay on site and are responsible for their children at all times). Drop in and out as you please and dress appropriately as we'll be there whatever the weather! No need to book, just turn up. £1 per child.

Care and the love of knitting and crochet have been combined in a prayerful ministry that reaches out to others. Many blessings are worked into every shawl. The knitter or crocheter begins each one with prayers for the recipient and intentions are continued throughout its creation. When completed it is offered a final blessing before being sent on its way.

Shawls are made for many reasons - for those who are housebound, sick, bereaved, undergoing medical procedures or who are distressed in some way. They are also given for occasions of celebration and to mark the beginning of a new stage in a recipient's life.

New knitters and crocheters are very welcome! Refreshments available. If you know someone who would like to receive a prayer shawl or you would like to join our knitters please click on the attachment for more information.

First Saturday of each month. A mix of gifts, books, bric-a-brac, refreshments, cake stall, jewellery etc. We look forward to welcoming old and new customers alike!

Lasting just 30 mins, 'Quiet Time' offers an opportunity to take time out of busy lives to be quiet before God as we listen to music, verses from the Bible, poems or other reflections interspersed with silence. Every week will vary as church members will lead each week in different ways. Be prepared to arrive, and leave, in silence sot that we can make the most of this special time with God and take His quiet time with us as we leave. Newcomers most welcome.

Afterschool activity club for primary-school aged children, Activities vary each week including board games, cooking, crafts, Lego, etc. Tuck shop available (extra cost, sweets priced 2p-10p). Themes for this term are: 28/02/2024 All About Football; 06/03/2024 Mothers' Day crafts; 13/03/2024 Red Nose Day; 20/03/2024 Sweet Treats; 27/03/2024 Easter crafts.

Our friendly and popular group that has been running for over 25 years. Lots of toys, crafts, singing, stories etc. Costs £1 per family which includes snacks and drinks. Different craft themes every week and this term includes Valentines, Daffodils and Spring, World Book Day and Mothers' Day, Comic Relief and Easter.
