The aim of a 'Chatty Bench' is to provide an opportunity for a sit down and a chat to combat loneliness and isolation. One has been positioned outside our Centre and is already being used! The bench will be officially 'opened' during Coffee Break. Anyone who was born or grew up in Swalecliffe is being encouraged to bring along old photos and share their memories as part of this event. Free Tea/Coffee and Cake (donations welcome).
