St Mary's, Sevington
Canterbury
This is the page for St Mary's Church, Sevington.
St Mary's Sevington is part of the Willesborough Local Area of the Ashford Town Parish. Along with St Mary's Willesborough.
St Mary's Sevington is a small but lovely chapel of ease and is described in Nicklaus Pevsner’s book “The Historic Buildings of England”, "as lonely and a little forlorn". It has got services which still take place on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month and are led by local members of the community. In spite of its isolated position, Sevington has a small congregation that has remained loyal to their church, offering a warm welcome to all who enter the building.
