For some time the north door, our main entrance door, has been getting difficult to open. This is because it has dropped due the hinges having shifted in the stonework. The door is mediaeval and the church is Grade 1 Listed so a Faculty, a form of planning permission used by the Church of England, is required before repair work can be undertaken. A period of Public Notice is required (see form attached).
Our Carols by Candlelight service on the 21st December 2025 retiring collection raised an impressive £540 for Pilgrims' Hospice. Thanks to everyone who contributed.
