For some time the north door, our main entrance door, has been getting difficult to open. This is because it has dropped due the hinges having shifted in the stonework. The door is mediaeval and the church is Grade 1 Listed so a Faculty, a form of planning permission used by the Church of England, is required before repair work can be undertaken and has been granted.
