If you require British sign language to be able to attend our church services, please email [email protected] and ask to speak to Janine, who is BSL level 2 qualified and studying BSL level 3.
Bobbing church has disabled parking at the front of the church on the main road. There is parking for approx. 3 cars and it is on street parking.
There are 2 large ramps installed in the porch entrance and the main entrance into the church. These ramps are non slip and have handrails both sides. A small ramp is provided if access is required to chancel.
We have step free access into the porch, main entrance and onto the cancel. The graveyard is also step free.
Bus Lines: Routes 326, 327, 334, and X3 operate near and through the Bobbing and Sonora Fields/The Meads areas.
Route 334: Connects Sittingbourne Bus Hub and Sheppey Way (near the Garden of England Crematorium) towards Sheerness and Sittingbourne.
Route 326: Provides links between Sittingbourne Bus Hub, Bobbing (Ladyfields Close), Newington, Rainham, and Gillingham.
Train Services: The nearest National Rail station is Sittingbourne station, served by Southeastern trains, with connecting local buses heading toward Bobbing's residential and commercial pockets like The Mead
Bobbing church recognises both visible and hidden disabilities and has a large number of both attendees (adults, children and teens) and leadership with neurodiversity's. Fidget bags are available for children during the service and
Dairy free options are provided at our events and can be included (and often are) for refreshments after services.
Mr Martyn Kitney is our parish disability representative for Bobbing.
Gluten free food is provided at events and for refreshments at our services.
Bobbing church welcomes assistance dogs, well behaved dogs and therapy dogs.
On street parking is available.
Large print can be provided up on request for service sheets and readings. We have an overhead projector with large font for our song lyrics instead of paper booklets or sheets.
Our toilet facility has a baby change unit.
Our nearest defibrillator is at Bobbing Village Hall.
Our Building
Bobbing Church is a Grade 1 listed building going back to 1200's.
We have 1 unisex toilet available during events and services. Unfortunately, this toilet is not an accessible toilet.

Groups, Courses and Activities
Our youth group is held every 4th week of the month excluding August. If you are aged 11-17, why not join us!
Bobbing Church supports Sittingbourne CAP with yearly gifting and providing donations throughout the year.
Bobbing Coffee Morning is held fortnightly inside Bobbing church from 10am - 12pm on Wednesdays.
Bobbing church supports Sittingbourne Street Pastors.
Help for Visitors
Our church is open between the hours of 10am to 4pm daily.
Other Features
Many of our refreshment items are Fairtrade certified. Our communion wine is organic and fairtrade.
We support Sittingbourne Foodbank with a donation box provided by the bell tower every Sunday during service times (11am - 12pm).
