New Vicar appointed

Bishop Colin and Archdeacon Judy are delighted to announce that the Revd Anthea Beresford has been appointed as Vicar of the Benefice of Beckley, Forest Hill, Horton-cum-Studley and Stanton St John in the Diocese of Oxford. Anthea is currently Associate Priest in the Benefice of Cinderford with Littledean in the Diocese of Gloucester. We warmly congratulate her and look forward to welcoming her to the diocese and archdeaconry when she takes up her ministry on 1st July.

Anthea has sent the following personal message:

"I am absolutely delighted to have been appointed as Vicar of the Benefice of Beckley, Forest Hill, Horton-cum-Studley and Stanton St John. I cannot wait to move, to meet you all and to begin serving as your priest. It feels as though I have been journeying with you already to get to this day. I look forward with excitement to that continuing journey in the days, weeks, months and years ahead. Please be assured of my ongoing prayers for you, especially in these difficult times."  Anthea

Thank you for all your prayers during our long vacancy. Please pray for Anthea as she prepares to minister among us.
