Opening
The church is open every day for private prayer and meditation in one of the most beautiful settings in England.
Getting here
Sunday services are normally on the 1st Sunday at 2.30pm and the 3rd Sunday at 11.00am.
St Stephen’s is in S Stainmore. From the road through Barras take the narrow lane over the cattle grid opposite the Mouthlock Centre (an old chapel). There is a finger board pointing tothe church above the cattle grid. The church is about half a mile down the lane.
