There are no steps into the church. Equally, access to the museum in the churchyard is step-free - there is a ramp.

You can purchase CDs - one is of the tombstone inscriptions plus an analysis by name, by property and by location in the churchyard while th second lists Baptisms 1813-1916, Marriages 1813-1916 and Burials 1913-1916 plus Marriage Bonds 1770-1824.
Souvenirs available too.

Often - but not always - we follow this.

In the museum is a table with a brass plaque for rubbing. Bring your own materials!
Help for Visitors
Many visitors want to trace their ancestors so there is a log of every gravestone (by location in the churchyard, by person's name and by property name). It additionally has the inscriptions clearly recorded of every tombstone
There are two booklets - one on the Bewcastle Cross and the other about the community and its history
