Not only are we officially a Fairtrade church, we have just been awarded bronze status by Eco Church. Eco Church is a learning community of churches of all shapes and sizes open to all denominations. It provides a framework to support our church and its leadership to take practical action on caring for God’s earth, through the Eco Church survey. The survey covers five key areas of church life Worship and teaching, Buildings and energy, Land and nature, Community and global engagement and Lifestyle. We are working actively towards being carbon neutral by 2023 which is a Church of England target.

This is because we have been given a digital visitor counting device to record visitor numbers to the church.

The architect's quinquennial report listed urgent repair work to be tackled immediatly. With only 18 people on the electoral roll in a small, very remote rural parish that seemd impossible! But we did it! Here's how we did it!

If you are planning to visit the church, the cross and the museum in late April, May and June be aware that the scaffolding will be around the entrance and tower, but the church will be open.
