The care and protection of children, young people and vulnerable adults involved in church activities is the responsibility of everyone who participates in the life of the church.

The Parochial Church Council has adopted the Church of England’s policy – Promoting a Safer Church. We are committed to providing good care for young people and vulnerable adults within the church community and have agreed the safeguarding policy and guidance agreed by the House of Bishops.

Our Commitments are: To promote a safe environment and culture; to recruit safely and support those with responsibility for children and vulnerable adults; to respond promptly to every safeguarding concern and allegation; to care pastorally for victims of abuse and others affected: to care pastorally for those who are the subject of concerns or allegations; and to respond to any that may pose a present risk.
