St Cuthbert, Great Salkeld - following and serving Jesus in our community.

An old village Church - in the centre of our community and for our community. We have a reputation for offering a very friendly welcome to all.

We are an 'open church'. Our door is never locked. We also have a toilet and a small kitchenette where you will find tea/coffee/milk/sugar - please feel free to use the facilities.

There are services in  our church building most Sundays. If no services at Great Salkeld there will be one in a nearby church in our group-at Lazonby or Kirkoswald. Visit the 'Services and Events' page  of this website to see details of these, We also have Friday morning prayers of blessing for our community- in the churchyard in good weather, or on Zoom if raining: contact Peter Pickthall for details. The 'News and Notices' page also lists other events and resources.

For general enquiries, please contact one of our Churchwardens Peter Pickthall, (Tel. 01768 898396, email; [email protected] ) or Veronica Priest (Tel. 01768 898026 email: [email protected] ). To grow in love for one another and learn the importance of forgiving one another and relationships will gradually be transformed as they experience the security of knowing that God loves them.
