Accessibility
On grass near the church.
The access to and entrance into the church are all on the level and the main paths allow easy wheelchair access
Changing facilities can be provided in the toilet or vestry
Assistance dogs are welcome.
Despite it's age, the church and toilet are all on the level with no steps so very accessible.
There is a hearing/induction loop installed that is used during services
On roads and grass area adjacent to the church
There are baby changing facilities in the toilet
Our Building
Our church dates from 1080 and is grade II*
There are some very splendid stained glass windows. One important window is viewed from inside the toilet room.
A modern toilet with disabled access is now installed at St. Cuthbert's church. It is inside the church, opposite the main entrance behind the servery area. The door is on the right as you face the servery and is labelled Toilet.
There is always tea/coffee/milk and sugar plus mugs and a kettle on the servery counter. Please help yourself

Access to the ringing area is via a narrow spiral staircase.
Occasional
The organ was manufactured and installed by Harrison & Harrison of Durham in 1889. It was fully overhauled by Harrison & Harrison in 1989.

There is free WiFi in church - the access details are at the servery/kitchenette
The church building is unlocked at all times.
We welcome visitors with dogs at all times, including during services.
The church building is open 24/7
Other Features
There is a box at the rear of the church where people are invited to leave items for the Foodbank. When the box is full the items are taken to the Foodbank in Penrith
